About this session

You may have a basic understanding of Colorado’s Historic Preservation Tax Credits, but are you ready to take your knowledge to the next level? Back by popular demand, this intermediate session builds off of the 101 beginner tax credit session. This session will provide attendees with more technical and in-depth information that can be applied to projects that are in the pipeline or currently under construction.

A thorough explanation of the application process and timeline possibilities when applying tax credits to a project will be given. Other guidelines and standards of the program will be presented in detail to help plan for using the Colorado State Historic Tax Credits the best way possible for your project!

Building off of the beginner Tax Credit session, this session will provide detail on the tax credit timeline and rules that apply when using the state historic tax credit for a preservation project. Attendees currently working on or contemplating a project will receive technical guidance with information on the Secretary of the Interior Standards, project planning, and knowing what to expect with your project down the line.
