About this session

We often wonder how best to engage residents and stakeholders in our community’s historic places. This is even more challenging when budget, staff capacity, and resources are limited. However, did you know that there are a variety of web-based tools that are easily accessible, virtually free and can be developed with limited resources and time? Come join us in a step-by-step tutorial into the free tool Adobe Spark, which can help support your historic places or community in leveraging existing resources for awareness, education, and engagement.

Attendees can join with their computer during the session as resources are created together online. Attendees will walk away with examples THEY can create in Adobe Spark including social media posts, banners, and a presentation for their community or organization. Templates, research tools, and examples on how to best utilize this tool and integrate it into other programs and platforms, such as Story Maps will be shared.
