About this session

Land use economics is an effective tool to understand ways a community can proactively manage growth. It is also a fiscally smart way to use land more wisely. However, few communities consider the important role that the value of land plays in palnning, zoning, placemaking, and capital improvement planning.

CPI is pleased to host Joe Minicozzi, Urban3's pricipal, an innovative urban economist and planner, for a keynote presentation demonstrating the economic benefits of historic preservation by building a better understanding of the tie between economic and community vitality through land use.
