About this Speaker

Cindy serves as the Director of Preservation Programs at the Colorado Historical Foundation, where she has worked for over 15 years. She holds an undergraduate degree from Miami University in design and architecture with a minor in art history and a Master’s in Historic Preservation and Public History from CSU. She has worked in the field of historic preservation for several organizations to include The Foundation, Colorado Preservation, Inc., and the History Colorado State Historical Fund. Her passion is bringing preservation into the common lexicon of life by improving key messaging and striving toward an atmosphere where preservation is accessible, sustainable, and ‘plays well’ with other disciplines.

Cindy lives and works in Golden alongside her husband, dog, and cat. She has two adult children.
